Running the digital decade 2020-30, the Digital Transformation (DT) adoption became gradually a priority for most of the manufacturing industries. Modernization never stops, simply because it is being driven by Competition! This entails that, the effort will be an endless internal rolling project.
Today, companies assign this project to the most relevant specialties of their human resources, which in most cases are the Managers of Production and IT. If we analyze the operational requirements, it is obvious that we need a dedicated manager to carry out this high importance task.
No matter what its job title (CDO, CDE, …) will be, its specialty may be tagged as the Digital Transformation Architect.
